Just as I like to remember him Squelly. A lovely saintly pope who suffered much yet clearly had the joy he speaks about here and was keen to share it with others.
Absolutely! Such a great man who was able to cope with that suffering because of his joy. Still able to look to him for inspiration because of this.

In October of 1979 my mother took my sister and I to the Mass he said at Living History Farms in Iowa. What a blessing to have that memory. Peace, Julie
