Link to some great posts on Lourdes
Just wanted to tip you off about some great posts on Lourdes which I have been really enjoying over on Poetry, Prayer, and Praise - they can be found here.
Thanks, Edel, for the link. As an up and coming photo will testify a great number of Ampleforth pilgrims were in Lourdes, though the photo just captures a tiny fraction of what appeared to be many hundreds.
To think that the same ceremonies that you and I have attended are still going on day in day out is very encouraging indeed.
Sometimes I find myself looking at my watch, adding on an hour and imagining what's going on there.
They are indeed wonderfully grand! Very beautiful! :-) So you are welcome! I really have enjoyed reading them and looking at the wonderful photos- I am sure others will too.
I often do the same - look at my watch and imagine what might be happening in the domain, by the grotto or in the basilica - truly a bastion of hope in the world and to the world!
